A new Birds of Prey movie rumor indicates Warner Bros. has certain actresses in mind to play Black Canary and Huntress in the female team-up. BMW’s CFO is the latest automaker executive to downplay the threat of a potential Apple Car. As reported by Bloomberg, Nicolas Peter said in an interview that he sleeps “very peacefully” despite the growing rumors of Apple’s plans to build an autonomous electric vehicle. Peter touted that competition is a “wonderful thing” and that BMW is well-positioned to handle increased competition the car industry. BMW is only the latest automaker to rebuff the threat of Apple entering the industry....

It’s been mostly doom and gloom where iPhone sales and forecasts are concerned, but one analyst believes that the iPhone 7 could see record sales in September, reports Business Insider. BMO Capital Markets analyst Tim Long says the reason is because such a high proportion of existing iPhone owners currently have a model two or more years old. While he’s predicting a huge number, the underlying figures would seem to support his contention that we can expect a marked uptake in sales even if this year’s model is less visually distinctive than we’d usually expect from a brand new model …...

The highly-publicized sexual harassment scandal at Fox News is brought to life in Bombshell by a star-studded cast. Directed by Jay Roach, the movie tells the story of several women who accused Fox News CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment in 2016. Bombshell’s cast comprises actors and actresses taking on the appearances, personalities, and mannerisms of real-life figures involved in the scandal. In 2016, Fox News became caught in a major sexual harassment scandal when Roger Ailes was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women who worked as anchors at Fox News, most notably Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly....

Two of DC’s major characters have received the Disney treatment in a new piece of fan art. Zachary Levi recently suited up as the titular superhero in the latest DCEU outing: Shazam! Dwayne Johnson, meanwhile, has long been attached to play his comic book nemesis, Black Adam. Many fans expected the infamous villain to make at least a post-credits cameo in the recent film, but, reportedly due to Johnson’s suggestion, it wasn’t to be....

Netflix’s new interactive story experience Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is so complex that it has some scenes that may never be accessed, and one that’s completely inaccessible. The episode uses Netflix’s interactive storytelling technology to allow viewers to decide the direction that the narrative takes - from small decisions like what kind of cereal to have for breakfast, to major decisions like deciding which of two characters will jump to their death from a balcony....

It’s unlikely that this will help BlackBerry come out of its struggles, but the Canada-based smartphone maker says it will be bringing its BBM messaging service to Apple’s iPad and iPod touch later today. Don’t be surprised, though, if the launch gets delayed (based on BlackBerry’s past iOS launch efforts). BBM for iPhone arrived late last month for free. It seems likely that the app will be a Universal download, and we’ll update when it’s out....

Never did we believe we would love watching a show about a depressed horse. Bojack Horseman is funny, dramatic, full of puns, and does a really great job at satirizing modern pop culture and the state of Hollywood. The shows characters are also great and diverse. While Bojack struggles with his own issues, plenty of other characters are going about their own lives with their own struggles that are all relatable, yet different from one another....
