Marvel Studios is beginning to roll Black Panther out into theaters this week to great results. The early reactions from the movie praised nearly everything it had to offer. Not only is it getting critical praise, but it appears to be poised for a box office haul worthy of a king....

It sounds like that 4-hour assembly cut of Marvel’s Black Panther won’t ever see the light of day. By the time Black Panther hit theaters in February, its runtime had been trimmed down from its massive length to a comparably lean 2 hours and 14 minutes. Given that director Ryan Coogler had created a rich and detailed world with Wakanda, fans were curious as to what ended up on the cutting room floor....

A new featurette for Marvel’s Black Widow makes the movie’s delay part of the marketing. Directed by Cate Shortland, the highly anticipated superhero film marks the first solo outing for Scarlett Johansson’s character Natasha Romanoff. Set between the events in Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, the story centers on Natasha as she confronts her past with the Red Room program that trained her to be an assassin. Alongside Johansson, Florence Pugh plays another Black Widow from Natasha’s program named Yelena, Rachel Weisz plays a Black Widow named Melina Vostokoff, and David Harbour plays Alexei Shostakov, otherwise known as Red Guardian....

The past few months have been rough on Blizzard Entertainment. The company is a behemoth in the video game industry, best known for creating such beloved franchises as Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, and most recently, Overwatch. But a slew of recent developments have given fans cause for concern about Blizzard’s future. In November during BlizzCon 2018, as Diablo loyalists awaited a new entry in the franchise, Blizzard announced Diablo Immortal - a mobile game - as their big reveal to hardcore fans who paid and traveled for the event....

Bloomberg is out today with its annual Pay Index report covering the year 2020, ranking the compensation of top US executives and CEOs. This year, Tesla CEO Elon Musk unsurprisingly comes in at the top, while Apple CEO Tim Cook has fallen to spot No. 8 on the list. Black Panther is a superhero film like no other. Where most Marvel movies introduce us to a superhero, this film welcomes viewers to an entire fictional African country. In artistic terms, it’s beyond anything fans have seen before. It’s a stunning exercise in world-building, revealing Wakanda as almost a character in its own right. Black Panther is so effective because the production crew put a tremendous amount of effort into it....
