Posh Green is the first “Equity Retail Cannabis Dispensary in San Francisco” that’s independently owned by a BIPOC woman who’s assembled a gaggle of cannabis connoisseurs that believe in supporting local farmers and greenhouse vendors. Whether you’re looking to find a pocket of calm or (responsibly) board a synaptic space ship, there’s a like-owned Bay Area dispensary keen on offering you an oil — like Platinum’s Dart pesticide-free vape pods —  edibles, flowers, and the like you’re looking to buy.

Here are some of our current favorites.

Farmacy Berkeley

When Sue Taylor, a retired Catholic School Principal, opened Farmacy Berkeley, her mission was simple: to educate the masses on the medical benefits of cannabis. With her teachings predominantly aimed at seniors — through iCANN welcomes all age demographics — Taylor’s dispensary pedestals holistic resources as an alternative to pharmaceutical drugs, and she and her staff are well-versed in how cannabinoids can better not only your mood but overall wellbeing. They’re currently offering both contact-free pick up and delivery amid the pandemic. // 3243 Sacramento Street, Berkeley; more info at farmacyberkeley.com

Bay Queen

Though not an outright dispensary, the cannabis delivery company Bay Queen is sure to help you find your next CBD balm — then deliver it right to your door. Serving much of the Bay Area, first-time customers also save $10 off their first purchase; said orders, too, go toward ensuring this female-BIPOC-owned cannabis business can exist as a model for years to come so that others can follow in their footsteps. // More info available at bayqueen.life/menu

Posh Green Cannabis Boutique

Having recently made “herstory” as the first Black-female-owned dispensary in San Francisco, Posh Green Cannabis Boutique in Bayview-Hunters Point is already making waves in the cannabis community. Posh Green is the first “Equity Retail Cannabis Dispensary in San Francisco” that’s independently owned by a BIPOC woman who’s assembled a gaggle of cannabis connoisseurs that believe in supporting local farmers and greenhouse vendors. Between their edibles and flowers, Posh Green’s selections are amongst the highest quality found anywhere in the seven-by-seven. // 828 Innes Ave #110, San Francisco (Bayview-Hunters Point); more info at poshgreencollective.com

Stash Twist

Stash Twist was founded by Andrea Unsworth and is currently one of just a handful of woman-operated, non-profit cannabis collectives in the East Bay. They both offer and provide safe access to high-quality medical cannabis and cannabis products, which includes, edibles, loose-leaf herbs — and, of course, oils. Stash Twist also has vegan and gluten-free options available for their edibles in varying doses; they also sell a ranging assortment of tinctures for safe, precise THC:CBD ratio dosings. // More info at stashtwist.com

Euphorium

Like Stash Twist, Euphorium is another non-profit, woman-owned collective that offers high-quality, carefully-curated cannabis, concentrates, and edibles — straight to your door. Charlita Brown, who owns the lavish establishment, has wielded her pharmaceutical background to help pair people with products they need. They, truly, believe in the healing power of cannabis… which, per past anecdotes left by customers, is evident the moment you walk in. Aquarium also offers free consultations over the phone or email; they’re still open and abiding by all social distancing norms for deliveries. // More info at tryeuphorium.com
