Big Brother fans are petitioning to remove Jason Momoa look-alike Jack Matthews from the show. It’s only two weeks in, and this contestant has already become the villain of this year’s season, crossing the line of what’s acceptable, and fans believe he took it too far, demanding that he gets cut from the show.

The reality show is currently on its 19th year of bringing 16 strangers into a house to document their every move on national TV. On Big Brother, which first aired in 2000, contestants are competing for a grand prize of $500,000 as they make alliances and try to avoid getting voted out of the house each week. This season’s camping-inspired home the housemates share is outfitted with microphones and HD cameras monitoring them 24/7. With this format, fans are able to see the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to the contestants. Unfortunately for Matthews, despite his Jason Momoa look-alike exterior, his ugly side has begun to show and viewers are less than impressed.

While housemates are filmed around the clock, the show only airs three times a week, so a lot of footage is leftover. Diehard fans of the show are able to pay extra for access to a live feed to the house that they can check in on whenever they like; and it was during one of these live feeds that Matthews’ true colors came out. He was overheard bragging to cast members about how attractive he thought he was, saying that some of the women in the house were lucky to talk to him and that he only flirted with them to make them “feel good” about themselves, according to Cosmopolitan.

One of the women he was referring to, with whom he flirted presumably out of pity, is married Puerto Rican plus-size model Jessica Milagros. He also referred to her as “consuela” at one point during the live feed and was overheard making other racist remarks and regularly referring to women in the house as “b*tches.” Matthews even said of one contestant that she made him want to “stomp a mudhole through her chest.” Basically, he’s gone from heartthrob celeb look-alike to an all-around awful - and potentially even violent - person, and so now fans want to take action with the network to get him kicked off the show. Viewers have launched a petition, per Change.org, to have CBS kick Matthews out of the Big Brother house.

As of now, the petition has nearly 4,000 signatures of its 5,000 goal. Neither CBS nor Big Brother producers have addressed the situation publicly, but they may have had a conversation with Matthews privately. According to the live feed, he told a fellow housemate that someone in production warned him about his behavior, adding he needs to “be careful” about what he says. Hopefully, the network will take some strong action soon if Matthews’ offensive behavior continues. This could mean an unexpected and sudden removal if Matthews doesn’t change his behavior, which could be a huge advantage to the other housemates.
